Re: The old style DOM brand key lockable wheel bolts
Whilst I do have a complete set of these original DOM / BMW locking wheel locks & keys, I do not have the packaging. But they are certainly shorter than the Porsche ones above, with a "height" of approximately 17mm. On close examination, the same 5 digit number appears on each of the f...

FS - UK RHD 635CSi for £27k!!!
I must to confess to knowing very little about the market and values of 635s in the UK, as my interest and experience has always been limited to the "M" model alone. Nonetheless when I stumbled across an advert for a £27,000 635CSi, I felt I had to share..... http://www.pistonheads.com/cla...

Re: Odd M88 engine installation - answers on a postcard please?
Those first images are of a Dinan turbocharged M88/3 M635CSi. Apparently it is a 1984 Euro M635CSi car imported into the USA in 1985. The conversion, the only M88/3 one as opposed to an S38 USA M6, was completed by Dinan in 2001. It was exported from the USA to Poland earlier this year. The current ...

Re: UK late M635CSi for sale Scam Scam Scam!
Those engine images are indeed from a Dinan turbocharged M635CSi, recently re-located from the states to Poland. The innocent owner of this car has very recently joined a facebook E24 group to introduce both himself and his car, posting these very same images in the process. I would assume therefore...

635CSi DTM
Stumbled across this video of a DTM 635 stretching its legs on a mountain pass. Rather enjoyed watching it, and thought some of you chaps might do to. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgwUEfiQ8zI I believe the driver is Nelson Piquet Junior. If so, let's just be grateful that it wasn't driven into a ...

Re: UK M635CSi, 11/86 for sale (#388?)
Someone from a facebook E24 group who has long been seeking a nice sixer had an inspection completed on this car and subsequently posted the following today: "Alas the E24 was not meant to be - it needed new front wings, bringing back to bare metal before a full respray, and other bits which co...

Interesting project, Gaz, and look forward to seeing the end result.
I would love to help you, but in order to do so, can you just summarise (to someone like me who is not particularly bright) exactly what is it you are asking for?

This car, which I believe is 0760348, was advertised last year, with same mileage and presumably same owner. Price then was £20k.

I spoke to the Jersey dealer in some depth about this car several weeks back, and he informed me that its condition reflects the fact that it was dry stored and had never seen rain.

This is the same car, number 0760065, from a post I wrote a few weeks back, when the asking price was an already ambitious £45,000.... http://bigcoupe.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=27108&p=195001#p195001 It is still listed on that Jersey dealer's website. It obviously appears here now at a ...

Re: how many 635's have you encounter? (Encountered)
Came across BMW UK's M635CSi from their classic collection, getting ready for display at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The emerging corrosion on the rear arched needs some attention, the leather could do with a feed, and the sunroof lining was hanging down, but other than that it was looking prett...
