Thanks Greg. Yes, I am happy with the way it looks, now I need to polish those wheels, give it a good clean to the engine and replace spark plugs and it will be ready to be enjoyed.

She is back!!!!

After a long wait for the girl to come back from surgery (she left on the 1st of June) she has finally arrived!!

A major makeover was done on her, new paint, few rusted parts replaced, all seals new, new chrome bits and bumper rubber inserts. The roof lining replaced and all the interior refreshed.

A BIG hammer and a copper or phospher bronze drift (to avoid damaging the threads). I've also had to use a gas torch occasionally to heat the bolts.[/quote]

Re: Style 5 RC 090 17 inch

These are a bit rough, and also cost is way too high IMHO. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/17-BBS-RC090-BMW-Style-5-Split-Rims-1-093-531-1093531-/190594187025?pt=UK_CarParts_Acc_Wheels_tyres_Trims_Car_Rims_ET&hash=item2c604c7f11 I think the split rim comment is an error, RC 090 is a 2 piece wheel. I...

Re: Jealous

Ok, so ever since I got my 6er, there seems to be some possible (abnormal??) jealousy coming from my wife, towards my shark. Has anyone else experienced this, or is it just me? I'm beginning to think she hates my car! Funny you said that!! One night, while still working on my 6er at very late hours...
