Re: Sport Seat Rails / Tracks - $150

I thought I did. The rest of my post is constructive as far as price and application. Those are perfect for mounting Recaros into e24. As I mentioned, the adaptor plates are already included From my vantage point they are Comfort Seat Rails which are known for use with Recaros. They are well worth y...

Re: Sport Seat Rails / Tracks - $150

Please verify what you're selling. These appear to be Comfort Seat Rails that would be ideal for Recaro Seats being installed properly into the e24. Not a bad price as the flat adaptor plates are half the cost of your asking price.

Sport Seat Rails do not have the 4 bolt holes at the corners

Re: What did you do to your E24 today?

Drove it . It's been a long torturous summer . Long story short the gearbox we fitted would not go through the gate into reverse . Rob and Ron have been fantastic in helping me resolve it and we got there in the end ,albeit after 5 months . Full story will be in my project thread but with a new ful...

Re: Removing the Pre Pump in the Fuel Tank

First off clean up all that detritus so it doesn't go in the tank when you remove the pump assembly. Use a vacuum or power wash after covering the level sensor hole Get new oring seals because the old ones are likely toast. A slight push down and turn counter clockwise will release the assembly. I'v...

Re: Power windows + sunroof suddenly stopped working

Breaker switch on the steering column covering. The large cover for the pedals and under dash wiring houses the switch.

The switch needs to be plugged in and reset for the windows to work. Or jumper the 2 wires going to the switch

Re: M30b35 swap cooling system

I think I know what the difference is Phil - the B35's system has the outlet at the rear of the head blanked off. You need to replace the blank with the "goose neck" from the back of the B34 head. As I understand it, this will allow the rest of the B34 cooling system to fit right up. Obvi...

Re: WTB M90 or M88/3 oil pan and pick up

For the e9 do you need the early style pan to clear the front suspension parts and subframe? E12 style is what I'm trying convey. Yes M90 pan would work as they were installed in early series 1 cars. Other option is to use an early pan with the bosses for baffles then procure the baffles from a late...

Small cut on one of the front sections. No speakers but I have all the hardware for mounting them. $300 plus postage t...

Re: Wheel decisions?!?!!

Not sure if you're asking me for tire size. Typical 7 inch wide rim will take a 205 tire well. For a 16 inch rim a 205/55 tire works well. A 215/55 tire may be too tall for the front Struts but I have never tried to fit one before. Good luck

Because if so, that’s exactly what I looking for.

Re: WTB: Stock exhaust manifolds and downpipes

The imgur image is likely from an M30B32. The merge right after the manifolds was early design while the later dual pipes to the cat is the B34 setup

As the realoem diagram shows, the downpipes are integrated into the catalyst section. Welded together at the factory

Re: No ignition on hot days

Consider applying +12v directly from the battery to the solenoid. Just as a final confirmation step as the starter is actually a lot of work to remove. Secondly, consider the B35 starter replacement instead of the regular and larger B34 starter. Much easier to install as hardware location is accessi...
