The pic that rhanley 635csi89 posted shows the correct spoiler with the piece I need still intact. Lower set of openings, center vertical piece. Must have caught a rock or piece of road debris just right because there is nothing else broken out. My pic is to big to load.

I need the lower, vertical center piece off of a front spoiler. If someone has a damaged spoiler that is unusable, if they could cut this piece off I can repair mine. Thanks in advance. It's an early 87 L6.

Ok, here's my predicament. I have style 8 wheels off an 850 that need to be re-finished. I have new center caps, but don't know which way to go on the re-do. Can a competent powder coater match the original color? Or, for that matter, what is the original color?(besides, silver. That much I know) Wh...

Got the spoiler off with no damage! Very thin putty knife finally persuaded the tape to come loose. All studs still intact! Thanks for the advice, I tried both options first, but ended up going the putty knife route.

I feel your pain, brother. Piggybacking on your rant. Different vehicle, almost same situation. Go into a national parts chain store with the part number I need ( 2 spark plugs for an older Harley). Give the "Parts Pro" the part number and brand (Champion RN12YC, which I know they carry.) ...

I personally feel there should be a 5 day waiting period for purchasing bondo and JB weld. Eliminate some of the bad "mechanics" from "plying their trade" Good luck with the repair! Here's to hoping you don't find any more surprises !
