Re: WTB: Seat belt receptacles
It's the mount at the bottom which causes the problem - it's bent in the opposite direction on the sports v. comforts. These are the comfort receptacles I had - note how the mount is bent - you want the opposite: https://photos.smugmug.com/photos/i-nkq9vgr/0/49c5d3e5/L/i-nkq9vgr-L.jpg There are var...

Thanks Dean but I have that full factory manual and tried using it. It leaves out some detail that maybe someone who has done it before can share.
Thanks again as alway!

Sunroof Installation?
Does anyone have a photo process of how to reinstall a sunroof? I have got the splines and roof in, but cannot slide it back in the roof to get it to sit so I can install the motor and the rest of the guide covers. I know installing is 10x harder than removing, but I didn't think it would be this ba...

I'm looking for #1 and #2 in the diagram here for my '85 with power seats. Would like one without any holes, burns, etc. and one where the vinyl pattern is still intact. Thanks!

Re: Alpina B7S Turbo!
So this is interesting...on their own website, they do say it is a 1982. Issue is, they advertised it under the E28 M5 heading!!

Alpina B7S Turbo!
I'm not affiliated in any way with this posting, but a guy can dream can't he? This is an unbelievable price and I don't know if he'll ever get it, but it is a phenomenal and rare car. This dealer seems to have some pretty rare cars in Ohio. https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/detail/698381824/overvi...

Front Air Dam w/Brackets Photo Request
Does anyone have a photo of a front air dam installation with all the brackets intact? I'm trying to put mine back together and I didn't take pictures of it prior to removal. The service manual is not very good at showing orientation or where it is bolted onto the body. Thanks much!!

Sport Seat Harness
I am putting +1986 sport seats in my 1985 6er and I noticed that the harness plugs are different. Does anyone have a 1986+ car with the male connection that would fit in this connection? I would have to splice it in to make it work. I would be looking for about 10-12" of the body harness right ...

Stalled Project - 1985 Diamond Schwartz w/Taurus Rot Interior
Hi all. I have hit the end of the road on my 1985 restoration. The car is an 11/84 production and was a "press car" for a year before it was privately sold on the market in '85. It runs great, has NO RUST, and has a TON of new and restored parts ready to go back on. Right now, the car is a...
