I have to chime in and also give Kos kudos for his great work and attention to detail! What a great asset for our community to have someone do this for just the right finishing touches on our cars!

What is this wire connection?
I am in the process of putting my car back together from the PO, and there are a bunch of unmarked wires that I need to find out where they go. Here is a connection (blue and brown wire), that is coming from the same wire loom as one of the white connectors from the back of the instrument cluster. A...

WTB: Rear Tail Light Chrome + Rubber
Looking for rear tail light frames that don't have any rust or pitting. Also need the rubber to go along with them. Build date is 11/84 and is a 1985 model year.
Thanks!
Jack
Thanks!

Re: No Start - During Restoration
Thanks.
I replaced both the speed and reference sensors, and still nothing. I'll check the grounds again, but already went over them a couple of times to check. I am getting power to the fuel pump and the fuel tank gauge is showing an accurate reading. This is why this is so maddening for me!

Re: No Start - During Restoration
Ok...the replacement of the crankcase sensors didn't help. This is what I did and what I found. Any advice from here? 1. Pin 4 at the Motronic control unit (black/yellow wire) coming from the starter and I made sure there is continuity between the starter end and the ECU end of the wire. 2. I check...

Thanks Brucey. Mine is a 11/84 build date. I order 2 Bosch sensors, so I should be good. Thanks again!

Re: No Start - During Restoration
So I went into the sensors a little further, and saw that the PO must have removed the actual connector at the top end of the wire and just plugged the 3 flat prongs into the harness. Needless to say, I ordered new sensors and will retest once they are installed. I just don't trust what was done pre...

Re: No Start - During Restoration
you should check that you have a 'start signal' at the ECU (pin 4 IIRC) when you are cranking. Without that, the ECU won't make sparks, won't close the fuel pump relay. Can't be sure it is that, but it is one thing on the list... hth cheers I tested the ECU #4 pin and I have almost 12V (I think my ...

No Start - During Restoration
Ok, here is another "won't start" post... My car is in the middle of a restoration and nearing completion. I am putting the engine back together and want to do a test start to be sure everything is working and I want to do this before I put the rest of the car together. The engine cranks w...

Re: Alternator & Solenoid Wiring
if the engine won't stop on the key, your problems are certainly not confined to the starter circuit. If you don't have it, I would suggest that you get a copy of the relevant ETM, eg. from the wedophones/downloads link. cheers Thanks. I think that was the way he set it up. I wound up switching all...

Alternator & Solenoid Wiring
I need some assistance here... I bought my car a couple years ago, and the PO had installed a push button start since the ignition switch in the column was not working. While he installed the button, he cut and wiped out any history of how the solenoid and alternator were wired. With the push button...

Here are the new decals! Kos did an amazing job!! He even cut the emissions decal the same way the original was cut so that no one can tamper with it once it is on.

Re: WTB - Evaporator Box Fresh Air Flaps
Hey all! Just wanted to see if anyone out there has this? I also need the transistors and plat the completes the enclosure on the passenger side of the evaporator box. Any help or sources for this would be greatly appreciated so I can get my Heat and AC back up and running. Thanks for looking.
