Re: 1984 633CSi Rises again!
Nice airdam! :D if your service indicator lights have never come on before, it could be leaky NI cad batteries. As the SI board used NI cad batteries, unless it truly is working, it seems kinda random after long term ownership they all of sudden work. You may want to pull the cluster and make sure t...

Re: What did you do to your E24 today?
Sonja and I went for a good long 2 hour cruise today. Like noted in previous post, I have to keep my spirited driving to the remote highways, and I keep an eye out for the cameras as they are permanently installed and they use some kind of timing in between the various cameras to validate your speed...

Re: Cooling/Running rough issue help.
Sounds to me like a fuel issue or the possibility of 02 sensor on the fritz. Three things needed for engine to run right, air spark and fuel. Start at the basics vacuum leaks, fuel pressure, proper air to fuel ratios. Maybe get a smoke test done to track any vacuum leaks, as all vintage Bimmers suff...

Re: Official L6 production numbers?
I just got off the phone with a gent at BMW USA, I gave the VIN and he could not locate my L6? I had called to ask about the numbers of L6's built in USA. He asked me for address and phone number. So maybe I will get to the bottom of this mystery yet. I will update with more info as I am on a hunt t...

Re: Ralph in SoCal (Positive)
Wow aftermarket headers very cool! I am trying so hard to keep my L6 stock... but it seems B.M.W. stands for Bring More Wallet!
P.S.Ralph seems like a cool dude to deal with and has a plethora of parts, although, I have not bought anything from him yet... I most likely will

Have the proper tire inflations been correct? Sometimes it's the simple things that get over looked too.

Bigcoupe.com site security???
Hi I need admins to look into possibly amending this site with a security update as I cannot be guaranteed a secure login status via firefox 61.0.1. 64bit. I tried to login via HTTP// added in front of the bigcoupe.com address but doesn't allow this. Thanks in advance Jono [-o< There is an update av...

Google has brought me no joy and Wikipedia has brought me zilch as...

WOW just read from first post to finish nicely written, pictures and informative and enjoyable as well. I hate to be a grave digger but what about your rough idle? I am fighting this as well, new vacuum lines, new NGK plugs and gapped at .032, rebuilt and cleaned the AFM(moved the 2 swipers to new s...
