Thanks both,
I'm fairly good at brute force so i'll give that a go first and if that fails i'll bung in a replacement.

It's interesting to see how prices go and whether they'll level off or drop or what as they seem all over the place at the moment. I was considering buying one from the UK and doing an import jobbie for a while so have been watching the UK sites for ages and the price of good condition models seemed...

Radio aerial stuck.

The aerial (antenna) won't dissapear that last section into the body so sticks up 6 inches just waiting for some goose to snap it off. Repairable or rooted?

If i need to replace it is there any benefit in sourcing a Hirschmann as it is now or just fitting a universal (if one will fit) ?

Thanks
Paul

I've always used the (img src=url) on other sites in the past but with the < > and always thought that sites that use square tags..[] and the img. couldn't do both. I'm happily proved wrong :D <img src=http://www.photoshare.co.nz/PhotoShareGallery1/101167/107312/BMW16303.jpg> That's a <> above.

Beautiful car Mike, i love the colour. I've looked at the larger photo a few times on the Frappr banner as it rolls around the top of the page. Good to see your photo isn't 3 foot wide like some of them. :D

looks perfect!!! How much did you pay for this car? Do you have some more pictures from the interior? I paid around 9500 Euros which is about the median price for a 1986 model here in Australia. It's an Australian delivered model rather than a private UK import as a lot are. Every UK import i saw l...

I think you will Iain. I registered at the European Car Club forum from your link and like the look of the upcoming drive. I've just got to see how things pan out this coming week and i'll post on that forum.

I've got a rather similar M5 replica wheel on mine. None of the false rivets or bolts. I think they look rather good together.

There's so few here i think we've all driven each others at some point in time

As for having the car sideways at the first corner i wondered why the tread on the TRX tyres was so worn on one side :D

Are your wheels pure high polish chrome? Hi, no they're just the high polish, your comment about being almost a smoke chrome is spot on. The car is being ready to be loaded on a transporter the other side of the country as i type so i can't get another shot yet. This was a car i was looking at whic...
