SLS pump wanted - preferably in Australia

As per the subject, I'm looking for the SLS pump for an 88/89 635. I'm hoping someone has one spare, sitting unused and disconnected in the boot of their car after performing a SLS delete. Please PM me if you have one or know someone who does. **Note - pump has been repaired so I no-longer need a pu...

I'm still without drivable car, so I'd say at this stage it's a 50/50 chance I'll be attending.

I can't remember what the deal is - I think they are supposed to keep parts for 10 years, and then after that you're on your own. You'll find out with your Saab, I guess. I noticed a couple of years ago there were some plastic bits and pieces I couldn't get, so ended up getting them from a wrecker. ...

A great turnout and variety of cars, good job. It's also good to see they're getting driven too.

They can be pesky things, brakes. My front callipers were rebuilt when I bought the car, back in 2006. I guess that's a long time ago, now isn't it! I suffered a catastrophic brake failure in the Falcon in the week between Xmas and NYE. Heading home (east) along the M4 I lost almost all pressure. Th...

Bloody hell Josh, you've had dodgy brakes for years! Get them sorted and you'll be more likely to get it out on the road and do some long trips. I missed these comments from Paul earlier: I did a couple of drives last year with communication by email rather than through here as to be honest i got si...

A belated happy new year to everyone. My car's been off the road since late September as the SLS had sprung a leak. I decided to order the parts from the US as they were more than 50% cheaper, even after forking out GST and whatnot as BavAuto declared the full price on the Customs form ($1100). The ...

Hi Mark, really sorry to read about your car - I can imagine what would have been going through your mind (and stomach) as you had the accident. At least you're all physically ok I guess, but it is heartbreaking when something you've invested so much time into ends up in this state. Fingers cross it...

Sir Humpage, where did you take your car and bicycle to over the weekend? I went to both Bobbin and West Heads today and didn't see you. Most disappointed, I was. It's the first time I've been up there in about 7 months, so it was interesting to see how the bush is recovering after the summer fires ...

Well, like Bathurst, there are lots of youth about due to the universities. It's somewhat cosmopolitan, though I've met people from Dallas who referred to Austin as a bunch of paedophile loving liberals. I think they were worried about people taking away their right to bear arms. Or is that bare arm...

I heard about this race recently while trying to find out what the "Circuit of the Americas" was all about. Given the track's name, does it live up to the grandness it's name implies? Speaking of grandness, this is a bit of a stretch : The event at Circuit of the Americas promises to deliv...

Hey Paul, not sure if it's just me but that route didn't load properly. Plus I think you missed what is probably the best bit of this trip - here: http://goo.gl/maps/Z0bS5

So arguably a better route would be this: http://goo.gl/maps/NXmYi

Yes!

Bylong Valley Way is absolutely spectacular. I went through there back in October and was blown away with how beautiful it is through there.

I also recommend going through there and look forward to doing it again.

There's a lot of ill feeling been formed between members on other car forums due to ill formed opinions and spoon fed hatred. As other's have remarked, many of those voicing their pulic opinions weren't even born and less still actually read properly into the history before 1979 to fully understand...

Josh that's really poor form - you've had four months to get your shit together! What gives? Speaking of poor form, I'm out. My weekends are fully booked out between now and end of June as I'm preparing for an epic adventure on bike from Sydney to Ayers Rock via Lake Eyre (and the Oodnadatta Track)....
