Roof Rack City in Haberfield, near AAMI? I was going to suggest them. They sell Thule. They can do bolt on systems too but that does make it somewhat permanent and leaves ugly pads on the roof should you take the rack off when going for a leisurely cruise. I wouldn't have any qualm doing it on a wag...

Any info on the roof rack? I've been doing a lot more riding since i bought the beauty below and would love to be able to bung it on the 6er rather than having to borrow the Saab off the wife. http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u281/Hergest/Bikes/lynskey1_zps581a6d2e.jpg Mr Humpage, that's a lovely...

That's a very nice scene. It looks very much like a spot to the south of Wollongong in NSW.

Good points Paul.

I don't know the area so well, but how's this for an idea: meet at the Don Bradman museum carpark at 9:30. More time for eating, it's a nice and shady spot for taking photos etc, easy to find and heaps of space.

I'll get them sent out by Monday at the very latest.

Good luck with the race Josh. Make sure you post some pics - maybe start another thread? I wouldn't mind knowing a bit about the car and I'm sure others would too.

I'm a maybe for Feb, dependant on dates.

The wood is probably ok. If you zoomed out a bit more so we could see it in the context of the whole car then I could be more objective. One negative though - the BMW logo is too much and makes it look cheap*

Sounds like you'll have a great trip :) 60L is a lot of fuel don't you think? That'll give you better than 1200km range. What's the furthest distance between service stations in the Territory? On the Nullabor I seem to recall it was around 250-300, so 20L should do the trick as a safety precaution.

Looks like you might need to start up that club by yourself after all - there are no official clubs in the NT

Are there many older BMWs on the road there? Are there many mechanics with experience with older European cars?

Do you know what car the Style 32s came from? I'm guessing an E39; if so did you fit hub centric rings?
