My car on Octane Magazine

My car is on the website of the Octane Magazine Netherlands. Surely Bigcoupe was mentioned as well in the article :D. Here is the Google translate link, please ignore the translate errors. https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=nl&tl=en&u=https://www.octanemagazine.nl/een-jaren-80-coupe-u...

So nice to see you are already making good progress! This car will end up looking as good as your previous one, that's for sure.
Unbelievable how they glued the sun roof . Did see this before but not on a car with value.

Good to hear that he is slowly getting better. Very unfortunate for him that his car has to be sold and that he has to leave this to others. I hope he recovers as soon as possible and can do things that make him happy again, Brucey is clearly an active and lively person, heartbreaking to read ...

Re: re heater/blower fan 635 csi

The transistor of the heater fan is most likely broken. The transistor on the air conditioner fan is still OK, that's why it does work with air conditioner on and doesn't with the air conditioner off. I replaced mine by this part, works perfectly: Darlington MJ11028 Can be bought on Ebay for a few $...

Re: Window Trim removal how to?

An answer to this question will no longer be necessary because the topic is already a year old, but I would like to write an extensive answer so that it can also help others in the future with removing the chrome trim of the A & C pillar and the roof gutter. https://bmwe24.nl/download/file.php?i...

I use Autoglym bumper & trim gel for the plastic parts, work very well too, deep black instead of faded grey.

So nice that you became the owner of a car you drove as a teenager decades ago! Always like these stories.
Good luck in completing your to-do list. It's very short, normally the lists are much longer. 8)

If you are not able to repair the air dam, I think Bob V (86_6series) has one for sale.

Re: Where to buy a parallel flow condenser?

As mentioned in my previous post, you could surely re-use your original condenser, but as this a serpentine condenser I would rather switch to a bigger more efficient universal fit parallel flow condenser if I where you, especially as you live in TX where the temperatures can be high.

Re: Where to buy a parallel flow condenser?

Do you now have a parallel flow condenser on your car? The OEM ones are serpentine condensers. I read about that there where plug and play units available in the past but to my knowledge they no longer exist. Just take a clear picture of the original text and upload the photo to this website.
They will show you the fonts that come closest. I was able to make all the stickers of my car in Photoshop this way.
