Lower diff gears are Orsome. Went from a leasurely 3.25 to 4.10 in an auto 535i e28 and it totally transformed the car and only used a little extra fuel. Went from 3.23 to 3.62 in a e36 m3 eurospec and it was good also and use no extra fuel and was good for the 3rd gear corners on the track. Does th...

There is plenty of meat on the throwing stars so a 3mm shave should not comprise the strength.
The only problem is at 17x9et22 they are gunna look skinny on the rear with no spacer. Even my throwing stars 17x9et19 need a 15mm spacer to fill the guards nice. I have those guard extensions thou I guess.

also note that a diesel turbo is not made from materials which are suitably resistant to the higher exhaust temperatures that are seen in gasoline engines. I know a lot of people do use them, but they are usually in vehicles that don't actually get driven very far; no reputable turbocharger manufac...

Have a small issue with the suspension. After a reasoable long trip today with some average roads , It seems the solid camber plates are just too harsh for the poor old 6er and any sharp bump in the road at speed feels pretty nasty, feeling like it bottoms out. Porbably need much stiffer springs and...

The std 4piston setup should be reasonably good. Like all old brakes some new braided lines will work wonders. The upgraded m5 brakes won't fit 16" rims. Good pads and fresh disks and new fluid will also work wonders. I've picked up some 540i rear calipers to suit 300x20 vented disk will help t...

I'd be interested. Its a fair way coming from Melbourne it looks. Also do you need a working heater at that time of year.
I'd better get my bottom into gear and fix this. We will talk of the logistics as it gets closer.

I can report springs are not too bad. A 2nd person is very handy (ESP if they have done similar before) mainly when to reinstall the top plates through the 3 holes. Now the M sits on lowered eibach springs with bilstien Oem shocks and front e34 camber plates. I have now nearly -2deg front camber and...

What other cars share the std M635 4 piston brake pad size

As the title says.
These cars are rare in Australia. I know with the 840i brembos they share pads with the brembos from the r32 and r33 Nissan GTR. The ones of the M635i are smaller. Anyone can help here or know what other cars have se brake pad size??
