Re: Another one bit the dust

Hi Rainer Very sorry to hear this. You must be rather upset - I know I would be. Glad no-one was hurt. Minor traffic incidents are a fact of life, but when it happens to something special (in many respects our own Sixers are irreplaceable), it can be soul crushing. How many years have you owned the ...

Thanks Bobbo, that's cool, I like that car a lot. Very interesting story too. I reckon it looks better in the current pics, just black and covered in dust, rather than with the sponsor stickers all over it, but I think that bodywork makeover is amazing, even more so given it was built that way in 19...

Gday mate Welcome, the car looks very good. That repair list is a good bunch of manageable items which you can get to in the short & longer term. In the meantime you can enjoy driving the car. What's broken about the headlights? Just cracked glass or do they not work? And are they the new wheels...

The six profile, I'd taken it... Here on bigcoupe.com almost 10 years ago. It was a design drawn by a member for a shark event. I had asked him if I could use it for my use and he gave me his authorization. I forgot his nickname and I lost it since my account was deleted after a too long time witho...

I don't think they all had a grille across the top, only the section at the sides. That top section is just a solid piece on mine. Interestingly, the side grilles on mine are positioned on the outside edges closest to the C pillar, whereas yours appear to be on the inside edge at the centre of the c...

Hi Mamod I'm up for a drive sometime, dunno when though sorry. Next few weeks & up to Christmas are looking busy so don't know when to suggest something, but I'll keep thinking on it. Did you have anywhere south coast-wise in mind? When do you get your a/c done? It's a great thing in these cars ...

Re: New Pioneer 6x4" Speakers on the market

They do look nice, they don't seem ridiculously pricey, and you can't really go wrong with Pioneer. Obviously depending on how flash your head unit is will impact the quality of the sound they put out. Certainly anything will be better than what came stock, so if you're in the market for new speaker...

Re: JPS 633csi Special Order - Can anyone verify?

Interesting find Mamod, and it's developed into a very interesting thread too. $20K seems way too much to me, certainly here in the Australian market. Based on the pics & info it does look like it's a car that has been appreciated and valued by its owner, but it's asking price may depend on how ...

Thanks for sharing the pics Bobbo. That's a very impressive array of cars. The new 8 Series and the i8 Roadster are impressive enough, but I can't imagine a show here in Australia that could also include an M1, a Z1 and a Z8 all at the same time.

Gday Jason - welcome and congratulations on the new car. It looks pretty good & tidy. Show us some more pictures when you can. And no mate, it's not just you - BMW Oz pricing is ridiculous, especially when it comes to the majority of E24-specific stuff. But the internet and postage makes owning ...
