Here is the part I have. This is the switch that assesses the suspension height and corrects. I had to cut the wires for removal so they would have to be respliced. The levelling arm is rusty because it was a Michigan car.

I thought you Sechserreihe forum name looked familiar! I did have one loose but have since sold it. However, I have parted out a 1980 633csi so will check the flywheel on that. I would think they are the same but will take measures tonight.
