Re: LED lighting "upgrade"
Update, this has basically been a total bust ](*,) Once installed (I did get the dash indicator to work with the rectifier/diode bridge, BTW :-" ) I was experiencing very odd behavior, what I would describe as "current bleed" to lights that shouldn't be receiving any power :-? For ins...

Re: Sport Seat Rails / Tracks - $150
OK, let's review  Ralph, if I read your response correctly, I can use these, and they will also lower my seat height, which is something that I wanted to do for quite a while :-" In fact, I was considering custom made flat rails, as I would also like to see if it's possible to make it so ...

Re: Sport Seat Rails / Tracks - $150
With photo this time, and you can see that I do indeed have the raised floor, along with the E21 320 iS Recaro factory mounting brackets :-" If I didn't have so much going on right now, like PSF in a couple of weeks, I would pull the seat again (both probably :-? ) so that I can figure out why ...

Re: Sport Seat Rails / Tracks - $150
Well, I have a series 1, MY80, so I don't think it's like E28 :-k I used the mounting brackets that came with the seats and just had to slot the mounting holes 1/4" for everything to line up  The mounting brackets have sort of a "U" shaped cross section, if that helps :-" I...

Re: Sport Seat Rails / Tracks - $150
Ralph, would my E21 Recaros fit on these rails
My drivers side won't tilt forward, had the seat out once but wasn't able to figure out why
Dale, I wouldn't need both, but if I can't figure mine out, I may be in touch

Interesting that it has "55" at 90 KPH
Surely DOT had something to do with that
GLWS, interesting price as well

Depends
Euro models work with the driver's door open without the key in the ignition, but I'm not sure about UK versions
So just open your driver's door and give it a whirl

I like that "while I'm in there" approach Ross, good job
Some call it feature creep, I like to call it saving on labor time, and my back, or rather, working on my back

Re: LED lighting "upgrade"
Dale, I wanted to respond to this a long time ago  The stereo and brake lights are on the same fuse circuit  BTDT ](*,) But I finally got some time to sort out the non-dash indicator issue, and once again with the assistance of Klaus the master mechanic, I was off and running  Thi...

Re: Under hood upgrades, finally...
Post update: The adhesive that I used eventually gave in, probably due to heat, but who knows :-? So after discussing this issue with another board member (Tommy) we both decided to go with another 3M product, 90 high strength high temp spray contact cement [-o< Tommy also bought the classic 9 hood ...

What is the ET of these wheels? Not sure about series II (later model) fitment, as I have an early model and they fit fine without the need for spacers :-" My specs are the following: Front: 17" x 8" ET20 Rear: 17" x 9" ET26 Hopefully somebody with an M6 and these wheels can...

Re: Another wheel size question
Dennis, I presume that these wheels are staggered widths
265/40 series would be a bit on the tall side. Depending on the width of the rear wheels (9"?) 255/40 would be more correct as far as outside tire diameter is concerned
BTW, I've been to Genoa, cool little town
