After working on my passenger side motor, the window was still slow moving

But cleaning the switch with a quality electronic contact cleaner, it moves up and down as it should, now

sideshowbob, I had a similar situation wherein the bonnet would not pop up after releasing the hold down lever, even with new gas struts

I found that cleaning and lubricating the latch mechanisms on both sides that hold the bonnet down did the trick and it pops up as expected now

Agreed, you were dealing with an issue of already being too low, I'm not sure how going to 19's with stretched tires helped
