Hi
I have this Blaupunkt Motarola 2600 brick phone with a handsfree kit to fit and wounded about where to fit it. I don’t want to drill into any of the trim etc.

Hi
I had a look at it, and it’s in really good condition with trx tyres. Could do with detailing though.

Hi Trying to get hold of part number 51131839946, it’s the aluminium trim that clips to the plastic a pillar rain gutter on the right hand side. NLA from Bmw or other suppliers. Would have a piece from a scrap car but only if it had no dents, because it’s a pain to get them out. I’m in the uk so DM ...

Help with side trim.
Hi Guys
Does anyone know how you get the plastic fixing in position without damaging the chrome finish on the trim.
Looks like I twist it into position, but I can see the chrome starting to deform.
Any ideas.

Hi Guy’s
Found them very helpful. When you go there it’s a large manufacturing facility.
Thought it can’t be here, but a guy called Craig met me at reception.
Great service.

Air flow meter calibration/rebuild.
Hi guys Just had my air flow meter tested. It was found to be out of spec so needed rebuilding. ATC drive train will test your air flow meter for £65 on a dedicated Bosch test rig. I’ve been informed it’s the only one in the uk. If it’s no good a rebuild will cost £294 inc vat. Address is ; ATC Driv...

Hi Paul
Thanks for that. Looking at the drawing for the r/h speaker, my wiring colours are different. The blue/red and blue/brown may be for something other than the speaker.
Cheers.

Re: Bonnet Allignment
Hi
After removing the headlight assembly you can get to the bottom of the bonnet/ hood hinge and move it only about 0.5mm, which isn’t a lot but makes a big difference because the bonnet/hood is quit long.
You can also raise or lower it from this point.
Good look.

Re: Underbonnet (hood) water deflectors.
Hi Ron
Should there be one on both sides. Replaced my intensive water bottle pump and noticed it has no protection from the rain. I just have a deflector on the passenger side.

Hi
I have the same issue, I need to move my Bonnet around 2mm to the right.
I have removed my headlight’s to try and see if it will move a little.
I’ll let you know if I can do it.

Hi Ron Thanks, on that first post I put the wrong code, should have said 235 as you told me. Cheers. So was this paint code used until the end of production. Guy in the paint shop made a small sample of 235 and when compared against the trim it was totally different. Even the replacement rain gutter...

Hi Does anyone know the paint code for the painted part of the ‘A’ pillar rain gutter trim on a Uk 86 car, Part number 51131869953. Have tried a sample of Nagano silver, code 435 which may have been used on later car’s but it isn’t a match. The painter needs a paint code to work from and the area to...
