What Brickwhite said, install new, as they are such a bitch to install, ooh and remove the drivers seat, first.
I fractured a rib laying on the front edge of the drivers seat.

Re: Period correct BMW phone with cradle.

Val, If you still have the 750, you should look under the rear seats, or trunk, as there is more to the phone than what you show. And its not worth anything, the way it is with the cord cut and the other parts missing. My '87 m6 had a new phone installed in '87 and I saw the rest of the phone equipm...

Re: E34 540i Brake Upgrade

Mark,
If you do the M/C upgrade use the e32 early 750, before 12/90, as the later one after 12/90 is incorrect.
It has the larger bore and will fit the e24.
And the 750 is less $ than the e24

Re: RHD steering box - is it from M635/M5?

Hi Kamil,

The only way to confirm is to see how many revolutions there is from L to R, Lock to Lock.
The M cars had a quick ratio about 3.0 revolutions.
And normal e24 is 3.5
This is off of a internet site, I cannot verify that this is the truth.

Just changed the differential fluid in my '88 U.S. M6. I used 2 Quarts of Red Line 75W90 Diff. gear lube. Now the car is exhibiting a groaning noise if I accelerate while turning from a stop. Did I use the wrong product, or should I add something else for the limited slip? In the owners manual it g...

Re: Leak Repair Service for your Power Steering Hydro Gear Box

Is there any way to substitute a faster ratio steering box when rebuilding/repairing the box on a U.S."88 M6? Tim, EDIT : I found this on MY e28, The steering box on my vehicle is a non-M, normal ratio steering box. My understanding is that the normal ratio box is 3.5 turns to lock, and the M ...
