what i mean by limp mode - the car fires up but as soon as you rev. it, it dies, it will idle, you can even drive it very slowly but as you fully rev, it dies, as i said i then tapped the top of the air flow meter and it fully fired up, it seems intermittent

Hi Richard I do not keep 33.17.1.129.786 in stock so I cannot get the dimensions. The Rear of the diff case and the axle beam are the same numbers, on the M635 and the 635 1984 on , so I see no reason why 33.17.1.129.786 would not fit. May be the 33.17.1.130.900 is just a heavy duty version. Regards...

thanks guys, car has done 300000 k's, head has never been off, i have had the car for nearly 20 years, the original owner before this only did 80000k's and said no work has been done on the engine, i will get the head done properly and go for the thicker gasket, any other bits of info would be most ...

head has never been off the car, head gasket has gone, just want to replace it, should i machine the head or leave it, i will do the valves etc but why machining?, if its okay then why not leave it.
