Well hopefully the weather is a bit clearer on the day than this morning, that is if we want to get a good view from the viewpoint up the mountain. I rode out to Olympic Park this morning and there wasn't a whole lot to see..... http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u281/Hergest/Bikes/Pic_0809_068_zps8...

I was going to sort out a simple local drive with a pub lunch for late August/early September but i've been a bit busy doing other stuff. I might be able to sort it out this weekend so i'll post something up. A good longer drive will be good for the spring. It's been a while since we've done somethi...

Car's looking good. Thanks for posting the photos up as it's great to see other parts of the world.

I can't say i'm a lover of the cars with the excessively wide wheels and stretched tyres but looking at the drivers i'm probably twice their age and am a stick in the mud. :D

Thanks Spencer and Brucey, that's some very helpful info. I would have been tempted to run a nice thick seam all the way along the joint, now i know better. I think the machine will be fine as it has a mass of settings including an auto spot weld function and seems to be aimed at the smash repair/me...

Hi gents, I happened upon your run yesterday in Wollombi, and though a mutual friend on this forum found the site. I was sitting in a café in the main street when they all motored through and I could not believe my eyes! They are a credit to you all. I don't know if any of you spotted my car, it w...

That was a really great day. A slow start with us from the south being held up with the truck fire on the M1, an hour and a quarter crawling the last kilometre to the Berowra exit wasn't much fun but we all got there. It was great to meet everybody again, 2 worthy of note was Jerry with his 1986 mod...

Yes we are. On Google Maps there's a side road called Flynns Road just off the M1 where we'll pull over.

All looking good. One question if i may. What gauge of steel do you use for these repairs? I've got some rust repairs that i need to do to mine and was going to pay somebody even though i can weld and have a professional 3 phase Mig welder in a decent sized shed that i weld thick mild steel for cons...

Excellent news ladies and gents. Once us mob from the south set off from Peats Ridge Road i'll give Bob a ring to see where he is and we should be able to meet somewhere along the route so we can all drive as one. Dave's idea of Somersby airstrip might work out well especially if they do a cuppa. We...

Paul there are two fuel pumps, one in the tank that you access through the cover in the boot floor and one under the car with the fuel filter beside the diff above the rhs drive shaft. How long since your filter has been replaced? Bee-Emms do the full service on mine dependent on the miles so i'd s...
