Re: '86 Canadian Bronzit-Beige
Hi Val,
Engine looks great.
I'm in the process of rebuilding the M30 with upgrades after
blowing the head gasket @ Watkins Glen. I also had the big stuff
powder coated. I'm doing the small stuff in my little oven.
I'll post photos of some stuff when I can.

Re: Radio removal?
If you have this style radio mount, try pulling the outer rectangle frame around radio off. Then you'll need a removal tool that will slide on both sides to release the tabs holding the radio. here are some styles of tools https://www.amazon.com/s?k=Radio+Removal+Tool&i=electronics&ref=nb_sb...

I'm also installing Ireland headers on my 86. My research came up with installing an x crossover pipe. CO bung can be welded into the x, getting exhaust from both headers and an x pipe helps scavenge the exhaust. https://www.jegs.com/i/Jones-Exhaust/523/SXP2SS/10002/-1 https://www.autoanything.com/e...

Would you want to exert that much pressure on your back stooped that low on
a large number of cars?
I don't think a dent could happen even if they punched the trunk.
However, it would show some respect to the owners if at least they wore gloves.

Wow, congrats on the new grandchild. My experience with a Xmas baby. My first wife who passed in '88 was a Xmas baby. Her biggest complaint about her birth date is that her family combined gifts for her birthday and Xmas on Xmas. Now this was back in the late 40's and 50's when we got a gift or two ...

Re: Starts, runs 30 sec, idles very rough and dies
Has anyone removed the 7th injector? It look impossible to get at. Its still original and it occurred to me if its leaking, it would idle ok when it first starts and needs gas but would be too rich as it ran for a while which is exactly what it doing. Yes, very difficult to get that out. IIRC I chi...

+1 on the oil pressure check. Use a mechanical gauge, it could be the sending unit.
