Re: L6 colors

I don't member ever seeing or hearing of an L6 in anything but black. Tonight when leaving the gym there was an L6 in either Polaris or CosmoBlau. Temporary sticker, no plates. Style 5s and shiny paint. The gym shares a parking lot with other shops. We need E24 introduction cards! I've seen a Dark ...

Should be able to easily get 20-25mpg in any kind of driving, and max power at 4500rpm, so something is way wrong.

Had the car out in December, thinking about starting it soon. Need to register it before I much of any driving. From December: http://img262.imageshack.us/img262/1952/photo0116g.jpg http://img28.imageshack.us/img28/3587/photo0113pl.jpg Ordered a strut bar and will be likely putting it on wednesday.

I could call Brian in the next few days.

My friend Mike (e24) is going to try to make it along with Dane (e28), Andy(e28) and possibly his dad (e24), and Fox (e28).
I invited Jesse and my older brother too.

Sounds like it will be a pretty good turnout at 5, with the possibility of 9 or 10.

Castle Rock or Park Meadows sounds good to me. Saturday and Sunday should both work for me. I can try and invite a few E24/E28 friends. The exhaust looks good and as long as you are happy with it Aaron! I too am collecting parts (but haven't put them on yet)... Just picked up some Bilstein shocks an...

Sounds like a good plan to me. I also found a friend (with 5 Euro E24's BTW) who was interested in some E24 drives. I think Jim and Brian met him at the ACC show. Either way, this sounds like a good plan to me, I don';t know if ill be driving the E24 yet since I will have to get insurance on it, but...

Aaron, If it was me, I'd be more happy with the M635csi! Looks just as clean, but more powerful and more rare.

Yes, that early 635 does look nice, but the comfort seats are a real setback in my book.

Either way, you should be happy with your current E24s, both are very nice!

I drove a 75 or 76 3.0Si once but it needed a ton of bodywork which I am not qualified to do so I passed on it. I find the 3.0Si to be the most desirable of the E3's because they are typically optioned heavily including the fuel injection, sunroofs, power windows and a/c. I find it odd that this on...

a friend told me a trick to passing... He has 5 E24's(All Euros) and an E28. I haven't tried it yet but he said: Run the tank to about half full. Then pour in a gallon of Denatured alcohol. Drive around, mix it up and then get it tested while the engine is fully warm. He said it makes the cars run s...

Doesn't sound like bad deal, definitely needs work, and likely a bit more than he has listed. You would have to buy this car with the intention of using it as a driver... A running M6 for $4,500 is still a deal as long as it isn't completely trashed. It may be a good idea to find an enthusiast aroun...
