With a few exceptions. Some of us have to use our Sixes for work.... I used to :D .......until last week when my good lady bought me a push bike :shock: and hid the car keys :( - part of my enforced fitness regime - it's only a couple of miles but the cycle home is nearly all uphill - it's a killer...
The reason this is probably not a good idea is that the friction plates give off wear debris that degrades the oil and clogs the filter. This is perfectly normal. When you change the oil and filter you remove all this rubbish. Why would you want all this crap floating around in your gearbox instead...
You should only sweat for a little while.....isn't there some law that states you should be informed of the offence within 1 calender month.... And even then, should more than one person be insured to drive the car (and possibly been driving it that day) you can choose the Deputy Chief Constable Def...
I'm still mulling over clear lenses though............opinions ??? Just do it. You know it makes sense..... But it can't be just the front lenses, you'd have to follow with the side repeaters and then of course the rear lenses.........and that's before I decide which car..........and I suspect the ...
I'd check in under the bootlid for fixing points before even considering removal, but even if you want to take it off there will a significant difference in the patina, colour and condition of the paint in underneath the spoiler. I'd stay with it and buy the BMW rubber preservative (or another top a...
hi sharkfan, looking good mate, so you have 2 6r's then, lucky you, and them wheels look spot on. you can't beat chrome on a six later joe Mmm, guess I'm lucky to have a pair, until they both start playing up :shock: The blue 635 I've had for about seven years now, and I've just finished a small pa...
I'd like to second the use of Road Angels as a device for...........lets face it, spotting speed cameras and traps, but is there some back story that Horsetan and Dvae know about............. 110 mph is generally reckoned to be a license loser......unless you're a Policeman or a Politician.............
Hi Joe, What's the ride like on those 18's ? Is the 225/40 profile the optimum for the rim or could you have gone a little fatter for a little more comfort, maybe a 235/45 ? Do you get much tramlining or suspension jarring over the back roads? Sorry for so many questions, but your ride looks the bus...
Sharkfan - guess too many beers to have made it on Sunday? Not really, but we had a house guest who Trudy said "was suffering a little PMT"............ :? I reckon she was just plain bananas (the guest, not my good lady), anyway the upshot was a very late night, 4 a.m., discussing her var...
After a few years the gauges can be wildly out - I think I can remember the lamp working on the Highline - but the gauge is a long long way down when it does.
Chevale, That's an interesting looking spoiler you've got there - I'd hazard a guess to say an early aftermarket that's been very well thought out - cut-outs for for fog lamps, cooling intakes for brake cooling and and a big lower lip acting like a splitter. I's a real nice looking piece. Are there ...
Dead right about the K-series engine - expert analysis concluded that nearly all of the blow-ups were due to sub-standard aftermarket pieces whereas the factory bits were of the highest quality. I can't comment about having owned or overly spannered a Rover because no matter how technically good the...
I'm hoping the DTI Inquisition might uncover things about the Phoenix 4;
I feel dreadful for all the employees in Longbridge and the connected companies but at the end of the day the cars simply weren't good enough for too long....
