The odometer and trip are mechanical so you'll have to remove the speedometer. Probably easiest to swap with a working speedo rather than try to get yours repaired.

You're drawing alot of current. You could try wiring directly back to the battery. I'm no auto electrician, but maybe you need to fit a supplementary battery with a charge controller or high output alternator - or both!

I have one of the re-setting tools produced by Draper. Sometimes I need to go through the procedure several times to get all green lights. It sometimes help to "wiggle" the tool in the socket a little whilst it is operating. Hope this helps!
