Sharknose 2015 (Netherlands)

Not sure how much interest there would be but I went to this meeting last year and enjoyed it, with a wide variety of sharknose BMW's.

Last year there were two B7STurbo's

I think Red Bull should not bother with the appeal. Apparently, Mercedes, Ferrari and Maclaren (and 2 more teams) were all asked by the FIA to reduce their fuel flow to keep the sensors in range. They did so and Mercedes supposedly lost 0.5sec a lap. Red Bull were also asked to reduce fuel flow by t...

Beaker, I'll be breaking my 1983 635 over the next few weeks. It has the brake master cylinder on the passenger side. I got a brand new Brake Master fitted about six months ago and have probably done less than 500 miles since then. Was struggling to find one and ended up paying about £195 for it. I...

How badly will the wrong oil screw up a LSD? When I got the car 14 years ago it was awful in the snow with the wheels spinning like crazy so obviously there was no LSD. Fast forward to a couple of years age when I got an options sheet read out and it says I should have an LSD! I'm afraid the #@*&am...

As mentioned above if its an LSD you need the correct oil, this is what BMW use on all their plate type lsd's and what I'd recommend:

I've had this happen to mine. It was the release barrel needed oiling as it wasn't returning fully.

Try a bit of 3in1 and work the barrel/latch to free it up.

I'm needing a new clutch for my car and wanted to know if there is any compatability issues between the different Clutches and Gearboxes. I think mine is a 265/6 gearbox but the car was manufactured in 1983.

Mine is currently reading under and I have noticed the needle rests below zero with the engine off. Would suggest its just adjustment of the dial rather than an electrical problem.

Yes it sounds awesome. Its just the engine and drivetrain are all solid mounted which transmits a lot of noise into the cabin. I'm told it sounds good from the outside though.

No sure on availability in Aus but I'm using Emerald on my S54 now, originally had it running an M20 on throttle Bodies. But in the UK there are other options such as Omex, Vems, DTA. Prices vary etc but most will require a new engine loom to be made and spliced into the car loom. the Emerald in min...
