any one selling L-jet cruise control components?

Is there a request out there to make a own ghetto version of L-jet cruise control? I can make it happen. My car doesn't seem to be equipped with it.

Thanks for the tip, I checked out some pics. We just got a belt ordered from O'Reillys, it's 38 3/8" and that should cover the resulting gap I measured compared to stock. As for a tensioner bracket, we should be able to whip something up. Plans: 1. Universal parallel flow condensor 2. Get all t...

For the condenser, I'm probably going to spring for one of these. http://www.universalacparts.com/product/UNIVERSAL-CONDENSER-16-X-20 This hole was drilled out with a series of drill bits up to 21/32". My boss showed me how to 'mill' stuff and keep the hole centered by continually measuring and...

I've talked to a few people stationed near Dubai. They said even people with seemlingly mediocre jobs like customs officers were driving around new Maseratis. Oil is power.

landsharks air conditioning overhaul

Thank you for visiting my thread. As a reward, here's a picture of Bert with his long term project. Back in March, I ran a 900 mile horseshoe through Arizona. http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/rr210/zepplin64/DSC_3086_zpspzbibxcn.jpg Anyway, I noticed the thread about Sanden universal brackets and ...

small coupe?

As I cruise around, a few people have referred to my car as "small" . Is there some dimensional illusion going on? I believe at some angles, our cars definitely aren't wide, and they certainly look long. Should they be called slim coupes?

steering wheel leather repair

I picked up this used wheel from a 79' florida car. The leather was cracked but all intact. Stitching was ok. I decided to give "leather nu" a shot. If you have the patience for body repair, fiberglass, bondo, etc, then this repair is feasible. Now I have a wheel that looks original and bl...

Who likes Moto Guzzi ?

This was my queen. Now an obituary. 1985 Moto Guzzi v50 NATO. A retired dutch military police bike with a full 3 piece fairing. It was quite a headturner at the guzzi riders rally in new mexico. I was waiting a stop light and witnessed 2 pickup trucks hit each other. I got hit by one truck that defl...

That's an interesting procedure and I noticed that same action when I rented a Z4. Unfortunately its not that easy for us with weak window motors. I usually give my windows "help" for the way back up.

license plate trimming

Its final, the Bavarian princess is legitimate in the USA. I figured that it would look better to break the law and trim the plate rather than have a custom plate made with my numbers. The latter just begs to have the car pulled over. A simple kick shear deal. http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/rr21...

Might I ask what your trying to carfax? I dont think it gives any accurate results for vehicles before 1990. I had one of those one month unlimited deals and had fun running VINs at a grocery store parking lot.

Even with the way the motor is canted? Brucey I know your probably right, im just trying to comfort myself. The head is stamped 79' anyway. M30B32 coolant leak cylinder head?

As some you know I just changed a "set of 3" exhaust manifold gasket. When everything was bolted back to together, I noticed one drop of coolant on the exhaust stud. Now its fun to theorize if the coolant deteriorated the exhaust gasket or the escaping hot exhaust cooked part of the head g...
