Bewdiful 8) Interesting to note that it's a "Highline" edition, but does not have the ellipsoid projector headlights.... I don't think I've ever seen ellipsoids on a 6er down under. Anyone :?: Well now that you mention it, I've not seen 'em either. Egg on face.... here are some ellipsoids...

And what defines it as a Highline based on these exterior photos? I thought the Highline option involved more interior leather and other interior luxuries, but the exteriors were pretty much unchanged, as opposed to a Shadowline which has a noticeably different exterior. Is a Highline the equivalent...

I'd love to go to a Sharkfest! Living in Canberra, I'll suggest Canberra! Its kinda central, decent climate, pretty good roads here, not too many sixers though.

Might get a better turnout in a major city. Where's the 'home' of BMW in Australia? Melbourne?

Gday horsetan

That?s a bugger isn?t it! I?m sure I could have quite easily done the same thing? I was looking at your pics, trying to help, but I?m not particularly familiar with those wheels, and therefore had no idea.

Can you post a pic of what they?re like on, the correct way around?

have you modified the front spoiler by yourself? it is a restyling spoiler, but your car isn't. The car is a ?78 633Csi, previous owner had fitted it out with the 635 wing and front air dam, and a few subtle changes to the interior, which I think really improve the look of the car compared with a s...

The previous (and I'm told original) owner did all the modification work. The interior has been reupholstered, but the black plastic appears to be original. It's good to see another Aussie 633 to compare with. Just to clarify: I have 2 side mirrors, the passenger side has a chrome mount, and I have...

Looks great, shame about the rego plate being shot up though, there's some real bogans in Canberra. :D Wecome to the forum. Regards Paul Gday mate, Thank you. And yeah, its a tough neighbourhood, but as we all know, all 6ers are bulletproof. That looks like the original colour of my girl (from what...

Thanks mate, It's Reseda Green, a factory color, I didn't learn the correct name for the color until several years after I got the car, I'd been going with 'moneybags green' up till then... I've seen the color on a lot of 3s and 5s, here in Australia anyway, but only on cars from that 70s & 80s ...

Re: color codes or names

Does anyone know where I could find out what BMW calls the interior colors of my 87 M6? It appears to be off white with dark grey accents along the top of each door. Found the exterior paint code, but have no idea as to what color the interior actual is called. This may help... http://www.e-24.ru/e...

I replaced my driver's side door seal last weekend, and your issues sound very similar to mine, but its all good! It's a second hand seal, from the US via ebay, and my driver's side (I'm in Australia) is the US passenger side, so the seal had very little wear and tear and its much better than the on...

Gday All Another Aussie 6 series here... This time a 1978 633 with some minor modifications to keep it looking classic and to keep it running! I've owned it since '93, it's a great daily driver and loves the highway. http://xs205.xs.to/xs205/06334/moneybags_01.jpg http://xs205.xs.to/xs205/06334/mone...
