To Chastise or not to chastise to KenKanne
Hi Ken First, I like how we relate to each other,,mostly. But, there was no call to chastise me for letting Song know the answer to his question was already answered just above his query. I said, being a tekkie, he should know how to research his topic. That wasn't harsh at all! I hold onto that! I ...

Retaining bolt
I can't seem to feel the bolt holding the back seat to the kick panel. Can anyone guide me to it?
I just casually felt around for it though. In fact it was while I was driving! So,,,a very casual feel !

Christoper or whomever:
On the E12 the rear seat has a bolt at the top of the kick panel. I haven't found it while lazily feeling for it on
Buster.
Are they there on my E12 E24?
Thanx in advance,,,,Greg

Yup, I saw that,,,,,,,,,,,,,just!
Oh and, the Aussies have been eliminated by you know who.

Something else to ponder; if as stated there are only 153 built, why does the dash plaque read #292??

Baders, if you'd rather watch your lawn grow than watch tennis, all I can say is I could embarrass you on the tennis court! Or, at least I use to be able to till my knees said 'no more'. I have about twenty trophies. I was forced to quit playing about six years ago but, I'm teaching my cousin...

UPDATE: We both looked for numbers anywhere on the diff and came up empty! Bob said too many layers of paint? I showed him your picture, Bobbo so, he even sanded in some places, down to metal with no info. What does this indicate? Bobbo, is you picture from the left front of the diff? It looks like ...

Re: need driver side window motor
Are you sure it isn't the switch or fuse? :-k After checking the fuse, you can change the switches around to find if it is or isn't the switch. Be extra careful when pulling the switch from it's seat. The lower cover might dislodge allowing the wires to fall out. Then you'll have to figure out where...

Good thinking, Pod! It's the pump I bought from BavAuto. I stick a tube down the dipstick tube & pump the plunger provided on the plastic can which sucks the oil out. It works well enough for about three oil changes, then, I take it to Bob to do it the right way. It's time for a valve adju...

Thanx to everyone; especially POD! :D Because my body is not as limber as it use to be, I don't even change the oil! I give my mechanic the oil & filter and he does it. Sad,,huh? Or, I do have an apparatus that allows me to suck the oil out the dipstick tunnel! I remember what you told me Brucey...
