At last! I saw a gold/beige e24, registration TIL 6353 on the A259 between Seaford and Eastbourne yesterday afternoon. The first E24 I've seen on the road over here for years :D

Saw two in 1 day~

Post by World-Class6 »

Was headed home from Lowes Friday afternoon and saw a blue one stopped at an intersection sporting style 5's near I-80 and Admiral Cald., in town.

Later that evening, I rushed to San Rafael to check out 2 6ers for sale and spotted a white 6er a few blocks away from my destination. I'm really liking those 8er wheels! 8)

Went on an early spirited drive this morning to pick up a set of TRX wheels and found a nice 86 635CSi(sellers 6er), 5spd in near mint condition. 8)

The law of Sixer attraction?

Post by World-Class6 »

Uhm, could there be such law as 6er magnetism in this world :-k

Was headed to Starbucks this morning and ran across this red 6er~I had seen it multiple times teasing me, while it passed thru the front of my residence. As the paparazzi that I could be, I grabbed the phone camera and began shooting. 8)

This E24 was in rather good shape, just needed a good polish and rubbing compound to remove multiple oxidation spots~ the exhaust sounded nice btw.

Post by World-Class6 »

Manny needed a bath, so stopped at the Melrose Strip Auto Detail. I briefly toured thru neighborhood and encountered a JR.

This was the only 6er I observed from Friday afternoon all the way till Wednesday of the following week. I love Schwarz E24's, as well as white ones and red ones alike!!!

Friday morning, 10/12/12, nice black 633 . . .

Post by GRNSHRK »

...seen on the Montague Expressway close to 7:30 AM heading east, baled at Orchard Pkwy :-?

Very nice example of a US version 633, wearing shiny wheels, 635 front air dam, and I've seen this car there before

So, are you here :-k

Post by GRNSHRK »

OK, who was getting onto US highway 101 south this morning, November 5th at about 7:00 AM, from the Montague/San Tomas entrance point :-?

The example is Henna Red, with a FOR SALE sign in the rear window

Didn't mention above, but this would be in the south bay area in beautiful CA

Please speak up, if you're here

In my little south Ga county I've only seen two in five years! One silver blue (633 stick) owned locally by a doctor who bought it brand new! The other, a black '88 635 stopped at a book store ... which I bought 2 years later and am driving daily.

Seen the same guy again!!!

Post by GRNSHRK »

Heading east to work on Montague just before 7:30 AM, got on at Lafayette and got off at Orchard Parkway, in a bit of a hurry I might add :-?

But this time I noticed that he/she also has upgraded brake lighting with dual lights on both sides, nice addition that shows the owner is an enthusiast as well

One of these days I'm gonna follow this guy, or gal, who will probably think I'm a stalker

But if you're here, please come forward

Since opening my BMW Wrecking Yard I am blown away just how many 635CSi are on the Coast and South Eastern Queensland of Australia Between Byron Bay and Noosa Head (about 250 km area) and some of them are very rare models. I see at least now 2 a week.
Also the amount of E9 cars there are near me.

At least in very sunny CA #-o

OK, Wednesday morning, 01/22/14, about 7:15 AM heading south on 101 freeway, I bailed at Montague as you continued south

Bronzit model, with an interesting combination of bumpers

Older style diving board setup on the rear, but a world bumper installed on the front, complete with what appeared to be the correct air dam :-?

Anybody on the board, by chance [-o<

And... yet another :)

Post by GRNSHRK »

Man, I'm seeing a "new" 6er almost every day

OK, Thursday morning, 01/23/14 also around 7:15 AM, early silver Euro heading west on Montague Expressway, but that's about all I could see since I was heading east :-?

Any chance you might be on the board :-k

Frankly, I find it hard to believe that anyone that owns a 6er ISN'T on the board

    I actually spotted another E24 on the road today (as opposed to arranging to meet up with the Hallmark car the other day); todays spot was a pale blue (Cirrus ?) car heading from the Wirral toward Chester on the Parkgate/Chester High Road.

Just yesterday I saw a white 6er crawling along in El Paso, TX, all beaten up.
I had the impression of seeing an old, pale horse howling one of those old carts around.
Very sad how some people treat their "elders"

Saw an M635 getting prepped for paint today (long mesa dr) and another one last week driving (robert road) to the store. The guy at the body shop that was working on the M said it was for sale too.

Blimey, another one on the Wirral - the sunshine must be bringing them out; this time a green (Cyprus?) 635CSi heading into Neston about 3pm two days ago. We both managed to see each otherin time for a wave of acknowledgement.

Saw the one from a few days ago again today and followed the guy home for a bit of banter. It's a very rare colour indeed - Platanengrun Platana Green Metallic Green 51 91 1 930 069.

Nice older guy, and his wife was an enthusiast too - she found the car for him 11 years ago.

They'd never heard of bigcoupe.com

Very few.... There is a 1984 635csi that the owner purchased new in Brussels, Germany and shipped overseas, two M6's (one under covers in a driveway near my friend's home and one Dinan example), and one red 635, a 1989 maybe, with World bumpers.

Sharks Encountered

Post by 3BMW »

Last Saturday in Huntington Beach I was "walking my shark" and lo and behold, ahead I see Sharkys' twin, same Delphin color. I pulled next to it at a red light and we had a micro sharkfest. Turns out his is a 1986 (mine's an '85) and he is the original owner. I asked if he ever heard of this forum and he said no.
