I don't know if this is just me, but I can't find an 'old' post that I thought might prove useful to 'young' Tom Williams, concerning wheels.

I remember posting (can't remember in which section) along the lines of;

"Why not post your car side profiles....", ostensibly such that we could see lots of different looks that wheels give our cars.

There were loads of great pics of different wheels fitted to 'our' 6'ers.

I can't find the little bugger?

Anyone seen it recently?

I've tried the search section but still cannot locate it..... :?

You can find SOME of BMW's own wheel styles HERE

Try this for size!

And here, a fun site where you can virtually change wheels on your 6'er as well as the cars' colour! Enjoy

Dave,

I need to check to see if I have pruning enabled. Pruning removes topics after X amount of days. I will turn it off it is enabled.

Thanks Brian, I had a feeling that one or two posts had disappeared as I'd been searching with really good search criteria but still couldn't locate them!

I had wondered if pic heavy posts got dropped......?

Dave,

Pruning was enabled for many forum categories. It was set to 180 days. I have disabled pruning on all categories except for the classifieds which I set to 90 days.

A thread gets removed if there are no responses with the set period. Pics and such have nothing to do with the pruning.

Thanks for pointing this out.

Cheers Brian! I don't think I was the only one that noticed, sharkfan commented on it when searching for a particular post.

Sorted!

Brian, any chance you've still got that 'post your side...?'

Post by UKDaveJ »

Have you still got that post on archive or some such setting, or is it lost forever?

If you've got it, any chance you could re-post it for me.

Thanks mate!
