2012 Calendar is on...Please read if you want to be in it

Post by bfons »

I've "hired" my 14 yr old daughter to take care of some of the Photoshop tasks for me. We're doing this!

I still have the 2011 submissions and am requesting more in order to make the best calendar possible.

--copied from last year--

All,

I'm now accepting submissions. Here are some guidelines.

1) Please submit the highest resolution picture possible. If the size of the image is 20K, there's no way it will print out. It should be about 2 Megs in size at minimum. If you need to send me very large images, please email me so we can work something out as email is limied to 10 Megs. Ideally, it would be nice to have an image of 3200 X 2400 with a DPI of 300. However, I have been able to get by using an 1600x1200 with a DPI of 150.

2) Pictures with your grandparents, the dog, and a UPS truck in the background don't cut it. Please look at last years calendar to get a feel for what looks good. The 6er has to look good as well as the environment it is in. Having said this, if there is something in your picture that doesn't look good, I can Photoshop it out. The picture as a whole needs to be "clean" though.

3) Please send your best 3. I don't want to see every picture you have.

Here is the link to the 2010 calendar:
http://www.bigcoupe.com/calendar/

Please send all submissions to 2012calendar -at- bigcoupe -dot- com

Please note. Any emailings that do not fit the requirements above will simply be deleted.

TY and good luck!

When would you like all submissions sent in? I'll have to go through my pictures to narrow them down...

I'll also include some group shots in case you wanted one of those.

The sooner the better.

I've started on the bottom half and will be weeding through pics soon. I would say 2 weeks max.

Hi Brian,

I missed this thread while I was having issues with my account. Happy to look after Aus.

I still have my 2010 calendar on my wall, and am using the 2011 page for this year. Looking forward to the new one.

My M6 is in the body shop getting some rust taken care of as well as other TLC, so all the pics I have are with blue tape on it - don't think they'd meet your criteria.

Let me know if I can provide any help from Miami.

Regards,

Will

Hey, Brian, Merry Christmas! I think you should sell these and still make something for your efforts (or your daughter's) .... we buy these for the 6er photos first, then it's a bonus to have a calendar. Gary

DunDun,

That is a beauty of a 635! Where did you get the white front and rear bumper trim?

I have a white '87 635csi, but it doesn't look quite as nice.

Thanks for the compliments however, with all due respect I'm not sure you are looking at a pic of my shark - there is not a rear shot of my bumper. Thus, not sure what you are referring to when you say "white front and rear bumper trim".

Please come again?
