So he introduces himself, none other than Motorhead, right from our own board
While we're talking I notice that he's got something fairly large stuffed under his arm, been carrying it around, apparently
Turns out that he ordered a bra for his 6er (OK, minds out of the gutter, fellas...) and they delivered a US "big bumper" version, which of course he cannot use on his Euro
But wait, this gets better, as he was on holiday in the states, had hit the Legends of the Autobahn show before, and decided to bring the bra all the way across the pond, so that he could give it away
So he hands me the bra, just like that
I've used one of these in the past, it's kinda tired now and I do have to admit that it left a bit of a rub mark in the paint on the hood, but did work well
Not sure if I will use this one, and may offer it up on the board, also for free, of course
But what a cool gesture
I gotta hand it to this board and the incredibly cool and friendly board members, that I go out of my way to try and meet, face to face
Thanks Motorhead, for seeking me out, your generosity, and making the effort to bring this item all the way from the UK while on holiday
