Rob and I have been emailing each other for a while now. Mostly I harass him about the weekly Roundel article (compliments 99% of the time, rarely correction or complaint).

Which reminds me....my wife asked what I wanted for Christmas. I think Rob's books "Ran When Parked", and "Mechanical Ignition Handbook" are what I want. I was going to buy the "Ran..." book earlier, but then found out I needed surgery (all done/all better now) so the book purchase got put on the back burner. I already have the "Memoirs...." and "European Ignition" books (excellent, both of them).

Seriously, Ken, you're such a cool cat, I wouldn't doubt if Rob would send you an autographed copy if you asked nice. Really.

Or...us here on the big coupe forum could kick in a few bits and get you one.

Or...you can just wait until my next book comes out.
