It's been a while since the Hack Mechanic posted about E24's, but here's his new post about helping a friend sell his uncommon '88. Part 2 to follow soon.

Ken, if you need a hotline to Rob, I've got it. We've been correcting each others grammar since, well, a few years ago. He's a solid guy, love him to death.

On a side note, if you like his hack mechanic shenanigans, you'll love him as a singer songwriter. Check him out!

Well, by golly and gosh darn it! Look who showed up! Hi Nikki!

Rob and I have been emailing each other for a while now. Mostly I harass him about the weekly Roundel article (compliments 99% of the time, rarely correction or complaint).

Which reminds me....my wife asked what I wanted for Christmas. I think Rob's books "Ran When Parked", and "Mechanical Ignition Handbook" are what I want. I was going to buy the "Ran..." book earlier, but then found out I needed surgery (all done/all better now) so the book purchase got put on the back burner. I already have the "Memoirs...." and "European Ignition" books (excellent, both of them).

Seriously, Ken, you're such a cool cat, I wouldn't doubt if Rob would send you an autographed copy if you asked nice. Really.

Or...us here on the big coupe forum could kick in a few bits and get you one.

Or...you can just wait until my next book comes out.

:)

Just a bump and also a big thank you to Rob for putting these articles together. Very thorough and informative.

I will be tackling the A/C on LOCUTUS in the near future and these pieces are invaluable.
