Insurance Valuation UK

I want to make sure my insurance policy (Classic Line) has a reasonable agreed value associated with my car (M635)

The person who knows the car best at the moment is probably Barney at Classic Heroes but the insurance company won't accept a valuation from a company that has done work on the car so is this something I can get done through the BMW car club or are there other avenues I should pursue and is there normally a cost associated?
