By the VIN, it is a 5-speed 635CSi. People that "M" badge non-M cars, or do a de-badge tells me something.

On the positive side, I have noticed the prices of M6s steadily climb upward lately.

Just saw a very nice M635CSi for sale in the Netherlands (premiumclassics.nl) for 70000€ 8-[ Not all that low mileage at 138000kms.Does anyone actually pay that kind of money ?

Wonder how long it will take before they are as hyped up as E28 M5's, although production numbers were quite a big higher for the M635CSi.
The M88/3 was all about power, no cats. At idle the raw fuel from the exhaust will make your eyes water like an old V-8 powered muscle car's exhaust did.

Had a 1985 635CSi with the "M" options. IIRC in 1985 there was no M635 but only a 635 with one or more of the M options. Badges, steering wheel, something else, and the best option - the limited-slip differential.

ANY engine will fit into ANY car if dropped from a sufficient height and the landing is cushioned with sufficient money.
