Here we go. AU$175,000, US$131,755, £108,290, €124,980.

Fully restored apparently but they clearly had trouble sourcing identical kidneys

If they screwed up things as simple as the kidneys and the badging, who know knows what else? Absolutely ridiculous price, and it's never going to happen.

That looks to be a very nice car indeed, and I am no expert on southern hemisphere market prices, but this is an absurd "valuation". Utterly bonkers.

Surely any prospective M635 owner considering spending this amount of money (on a not particularly low mileage car) will want the very best in originality, upkeep and advert accuracy, and will therefore expect......

- better fitted kidneys
- original and correct badging.
- better general engine presentation, without assorted coloured adjustment screw covers.
- a correctly installed boot-lid lining.
- an original gear knob.
- the complete headlamp wash/wipe assembly it left the factory with.
- not to be told the car has had two owners when it has had at least four.
- not to told the wheels are BBS when they are not.
- no service history gaps.
- confirmation of the timing chain being changed.
- a correct sales brochure to be thrown in.

And that's before they've seen pictures of what lies beneath the shiny paintwork.

I hope the car finds a home with somebody who will love and cherish it, but at that price, I feel it will remain in the hands of a speculative and over-ambitious vendor.

For any antipodeans referencing the best M635CSi, I cannot help but feel this was a nicer car..

Hasn't been one for sale here in Aus for about 2-3yrs. Maybe that's what they are worth now. If so I'm not complaining

For that money I wouldn't expect a gaping hole where there should be a radio, the motor should be pristine looking. The intake trumpets look horrible. My daily driver E30 is cleaner. And I'd expect a period correct, true blue cased "M" warning triangle.

UK M635CSi, number 302, I'm amazed to see it spent some of its life just down the road from me!

A few more inaccuracies.....advertised as kms, when it should be miles. Manufactured May 1986 when the V5 shows registered 26/2/86.

Has it really done only 338 miles since 10th February, 2003 :-k

If this one sells at anywhere near the asking price, I'll be shipping a couple of mine over to Oz to sell :P
