Photos thru PM

Is there any way to send photos thru a PM?

When I dragged a photo into the text box, it showed copying but never showed up.

I'm pretty sure you can link the photos, if you use a hosting site. I'll send you one as a trial.

There are a number of free image hosting sites; flickr, google, photobucket, imgur, etc., as well as pay sites, like SmugMug. You upload your picture to the site, following their directions, and then each picture will have a unique internet link. There may be options to post your image in various sizes, too. When you have that link, you will enclose it between , and it will appear in a post or a private message.

I'll add some extra * so it won't work, but here's an example:

[img*]https://photos.smugmug.com/photos/i-sXG ... GV57-L.jpg[*/img] If the asterisks weren't there, the image would be visible, like this:

If you don't want to manually type , you'll see there's an "Img" button in each posting box. Or, if you want to post a link to a web page, use and or the "URL" button.
