New guy: introduction

Post by knunger »

I've been a E28 owner for over 12 years and a member of MyE28.com for 10. The new car is an '83 635CSi manual slicktop. I bought it from the daughter of the Army Major that imported it in '85. VIN 8173162, repainted (Polaris) in '10, interior is Pacific Blue and is in pretty good shape. It needs a good cleaning and as soon as that gets done, I'll post photos of the interior. However, before that happens, I have another e24 related project that I need to take care of. Stay tuned...

Welcome knunger, glad to see you made it to Big Coupe =D>

You've landed in the right place, trust me you won't regret being on board with the most knowledgeable and friendly 6er only board in the world O:)

Nice looking example there, obviously we need to see more

Welcome.

love both cars, as i own a shark, and used to have an E28, way back in the late '80's..
It was my first bimmer, and had nothing else since.. for that reason i will always have a soft spot for them.

Looks good.

It seems E28/E24 owners tend to have both at some point in their ownership!

Some tend to go off the deep end and have e12, e21, e32, e34 along with those 2.

Yes Kim welcome to BC. We met at the San Diego e28 meet. Nice score and to echo a previous request, more pics please.
