COME ON YOU SCAVENGERS - PARTOFF

Post by bjhuddz »

Hi all this is my 1st post to the forum and I bring both sad and good news for you. Start with the bad shall we?

Well the bad news is for me :-({|= =( my pride and joy 1982 628CSI AUTO (E28 based) has been deemed a total loss after I had a face off with wet weather original TRX and a dry stone wall. If there is enough interest in parts from it I will buy it back from the insurer and part it off to the needy. I am currently in the middle of negotiations on the payout as it has been deeply undervalued. Maybe somebody in here could help me with that? The car had not even covered 83000 miles and was in fantastic condition. Another owner reached out to me to infrom me I had the 3rd oldest of its kind in the UK! :-({|= ](*,)

Being a new member I am not fully fluent in navigating the forum nor its restrictions. I aim to get to grips with everything and compile a good few pictures for you all. If anybody is interested in parts from the nose..... i wouldnt bother looking here.

Nice to show my face, I hope to get to know many of you as I search for another E24 to call my own.

So if people want parts, let me know what you need? And as a heads up I havent had the pleasure of parting off a car before so please be patient if I dont know what your asking for or its value. Its more that I wouldnt want to see it go to the crusher knowing how hard it is to come by parts.

If anybody can help value my car before the total loss, let me know if you would like to help?

If anybody is selling an E24 and my insurance payout can accomadate for it you may have custom in me =)

Thanks all look forward to your thoughts and directions

Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear the bad news. I currently own several E24s, including three 628 models. If I can be of any assistance, please let me know?

I know I find it hard to pass up buying any E24, but that's beyond the pale, even for me!
