New guy here!

Post by Caff »

Proud owner of a 628csi Manual - reside in the UK in North Yorkshire - currently the car is in a million pieces and I'm gonna need a whole shed full of spares.

paid slightly over the odds for it but i wanted a manual, i also wanted a black car too.

Its a rust bucket and is booked in for 6 grands worth of body repairs. since it needs so many parts im not going to be building an fully original car so you may call it a resto-mod.

If im right in what i think the m30b28 manual e24s are really quite rare in the UK so im not going to butcher it totally despite me not aiming for a fully original rebuild.

This is my last car - dont fret - stance is behind me and im full of regret (although the mini was a fucking great car)

Welcome.

Nothing wrong at all with the mini. We celebrate all forms of car culture. Spending money on cars is a much better hobby than gambling, smoking, or chasing girls at the local night spot.

Nice work mate. I really like them.

The quality of the photographs and vehicles in your gallery is awesome.

I seriously look forward to seeing what you do with your E24, and anything other vehicles that may come along!

Very nice. what I have learned from my 6 months of ownership so far is that E24 people are a lot like vintage air cooled VW people, very nice, enthusiastic, helpful and love the whole Shark community.

Welcome to the madness

I'm pleased to hear another 628 is being saved.

If you need any parts, I may be able to assist.
