Project Binky

Post by jps635 »

Not sure if this has been posted before (didn't show in searches).

Have been watching this build on YouTube - fitting the complete running gear from a Celica GT-Four into an original mk 1 mini. 3 years to date and still in process.

Very compelling viewing - first class fabrication skills and a good episode on setting up suspension geometry. English humour and lots of tea drinking.

I once owned a Carlos Sainz GT-Four limited edition. It was a pretty amazing motor! Shoe-horned into a Mini shell will certainly produce an interesting -and rapid- vehicle 🙂

What these guys do with this mini to get the engine, suspension, steering and driveline in is truly amazing - and professional. They know what they're doing.
