Thanks Bobbo, that's cool, I like that car a lot. Very interesting story too.
I reckon it looks better in the current pics, just black and covered in dust, rather than with the sponsor stickers all over it, but I think that bodywork makeover is amazing, even more so given it was built that way in 1979.

I've seen this in the flesh and it's an unmitigated tip and moneypit. It is everything you don't want in an M1, and very little of an original M1.

What an interesting article. I’ve never heard of this one before. I wonder what the hammer will fall on? I wouldn’t be surprised to see it fetch £250-300k!
