Makes sense. One of the most beautiful cars ever built, owned by one of the coolest dudes to grace the silver screen.
We 6er fans are in good company.

I never knew he had owned one!
More proof he was the BEST James Bond. Good taste in colors, too.

I was a big fan of Connery until I saw that TV interview where he said he wasn't averse to hitting women if they had a different point of view - turns out that was the reason for his first divorce.

Yeah, there's an awful lot of performers who are not nice people. Generally you find that the more "macho" males are within a cultural environment, the less respect they actually end up having for women. Slapping a woman because you think she is annoying is absolutely unacceptable. Believing you have the right to lay your hands on ANYONE in anger is really the big issue. That is utterly unacceptable in my opinion.
However ..... choose to lay your hands on me or mine in anger, and I have absolutely no problem responding in kind.

I think he was pretty much a hard a$$ in general. In his younger days he was a body builder and martial artist of some sort.
He was reportedly once attacked by a gang of thugs in Edinburgh and dispatched them. Afterwards they treated him with respect.
There’s also a story about how in 1958, he was filming the movie “Another Time Another Place” in England with Lana Turner. Her jealous boyfriend Johnny Stampanato (a rough guy who had ties to the underworld) thought they were having an affair; he flew there from L.A. and showed up brandishing a gun. Connery disarmed him and threw him to the ground.
So, he wasn’t just another actor with a pretty face who was discovered by a talent scout while working at a Hollywood Starbucks.

That is good money for a regular 635. Agreed that is a good price on that M1. Those bad boys are BIG bucks!
