Mallory Park BMW meet-ist Wed ea month, 7:30pm Coach House

Post by UKDaveJ »

I usually attend a monthly gathering up at the Mallory Park race circuit, held at the Coach House pub.
Mallory Park is in Leicestershire.

This meeting is held on the first Wednesday of the month & is organised by non-'old farts' from the East Midlands branch of the BMW Car Club (UK) Ltd - these guys are great & we have a good laugh.

Next meeting this Wed 6th April at 7:30pm onwards, so as there are a few UK forum members who are from the Midlands, maybe we can have a few 6'ers along?! :)

PM me or post here if you want more info.

Great meet up last night!

Post by UKDaveJ »

Was a great evening at Mallory Park last night.

Lots of BM's, which from memory included;

- A Misano red 635csi Highline Motorsport edition - the one that was at the Donington show last year - Horsetan will prob have photos of it!

- An E36 M5 - a rare one, something extra special can't recall - owner Andy Eccles

- An E39 M5 - as the one above, used very regularly & often to be found hammering around the Nordschleife!

- A bog standard E28- can't recall engine size

- An E39 530i

- An M3 Cecotto

- A 330d Touring

- My black 6!

& more!!

Next month - lets get some more 6'ers along, Wednesday 4th May!
Who else is going to come along then?
This is a 100 mile round trip for me! Just for a couple of beers & a chat with fellow marque owners etc
So, make an effort & come along as well!!

Excellent joe! Free tickets? I'm all ears...!!

Have a bodyshop pro looking over my Highline on Sunday, I'll also get him to have a look over the green 6. Can't afford to get them both done at the same time! But at least I'll have some quotes........ :?

Its that first Wednesday of the month again - anyone fancy bringing their 6 up to Mallory Park this evening - many don't turn up until nearer 9pm, so don't worry what time you can get there, just turn up!

mallory park this evening

Post by UKDaveJ »

It was good to meet up with you at Mallory park this evening Joe!
I hope you thought the guys up there non-stuffy but very into their particular BMW's. I've certainly found their help useful on a number of occasions.
Hopefully next month we might be able to persuade a few more 6'er owners to make the trip.........

1st Wed in June - come along, fellow BMW nuts!

Post by UKDaveJ »

ARE you coming along to Mallory Park next Wednesday - anyone?!

From 7:30pm at the Coach House pub - right on the outer edge of the circuit.
I'll be there, but prob not in a 6, my black is going to be in the bodyshop, my green 6 is still missing a vital ingredient - an MOT!

Hmm, might be the 330d, or maybe young Chris' Renault 5!!
Anybody else going to join us?

Joe came along last time & I think enjoyed himself!

don't forget mallory park meet Wed 7th September!

Post by UKDaveJ »

If any other 6'er owners can make it, please do come along!

Not sure if I'll be in the 6'er, will depend on whether my split rims are refurbed in time, my Highline is currently sitting on 'old' trx's & they don't exactly fill me with confidence..........

That aside, I'll be there, in a BMW of some sorts!

D :D
UKDaveJ

Come along tonight - we is having a curry!!!

Post by UKDaveJ »

Tonight is the night guys!!!

I won't be in the Highline, awaiting my refurbed wheels, so will be in our E34.

If you can make it, do so, you'll enjoy yourselves.

From around 7pm onwards! :D

Any takers?
