RAF Hendon Meeting 11th April 2010

Post by JohnRogers »

Thank you to every one attending the very pleasant meeting. Weather was nice although a little cold at beginning. Quite a surprise to find the American Car Club were also there so plenty to see. The museum caf? was a good place to warm up and of course the museum itself was fascinating. Height of the day for me was finding Godwin Lawrence at Hangar Lane so we were able to have a quick drive round the North Circular there and back. All the shoppers had the treat of seeing rapid Sharknose action. As usual there were many interesting cars and much useful information. And it was very nice to meet so many wives and partners. Many thanks indeed to every body for coming so far to the meeting. Images to be posted shortly. Regards, John Rogers.

Thanks again John for organising a great day out and a chance to meet some fellow E24 owners, this was the first time since 2007 when I got my sixer, that I have had a chance to meet other owners.

A really nice group of people, pleasure to meet you all.

I am slightly biased. This was the first big outing for the car, 389 mile round trip and didn't miss a beat.
