Shall we meet up on the way to Gaydon?

Post by JohnRogers »

My Gaydon tickets have just arrived. They need to be ordered from the Car Club office including the E24 Display Pass.

The Pass states the site will be open from 8.30 for pass holders - so see you then. I have not yet heard what shape space they have allocated. (Straight line or back to back).

Responses so far are very good. At least 20 will be joining the E24 parking.

I'll be there. Does anyone want to meet at the m40 services just up the road beforehand?

I'll aim for 8 o'clock, but looking at the route I will be approaching from the south on the m40 from Banbury and the services are to the north! Happy to detour, meet in gaydon town (there are pub car parks etc) or see you at the heritage centre. I just remember year before last I stopped at the services to the north and it was full of BMWs... It was quite fun.

As you say, the service station is just north of Gaydon - there is no cross over and it is a fair way to the next junction 13.
There is a service station at junction 10 - Cherwell Valley. It is just off the M40. One more roundabout. It could be a good meeting place for those who are north bound. James Sohl is bringing his E24 and was asking about a meeting place. I will email him.

See http://motorwayservicesonline.co.uk/Cherwell_Valley
