What a fine time we all had at Brooklands UK Sharkfest

Post by UKDaveJ »

James (Sohlman), on behalf of everyone at Brooklands yesterday I have to say that you should be commended for your excellent effort, organisation, not to mention the venue choice - very good, kept my 13yr occupied for most of the day, let alone the adults!

Having two museums which are so much part of our history, both motor-racing & aeronautical.

Was glad (not to mention surprised...)that I was beaten to the award for rustiest 6, my car grew wings on the way back due to not carrying off this particular accolade! Mind you the ?50 of oil would have been useful, now mine seems to be burning a bit more of it!

Maybe we could add a bit of chav or bling to an award in the future - the best modified E24...

Can't see any bling there? Or is it just ref to my wheel change?

Yes, it's your wheels, Dave, and they make a hell of a difference.

Your pics have gone wrong again! You meant this:

Dave, If you take off all the rubish after jpg from the photo they will all display. As for me posting comments as a guest, that was a mistake. And the big photo should be viewable as it's from the same gallery, so i might have to look at that one.

Am currently arranging the next meeting for October involving a bit of a pub cruise with the emphasis on driving.
