Can some kind soul - this means you, Steve  - please confirm whether David Cornell (S3 M635CSi Highline, "606 DRC") is on the Silverstone list (probably as a late entry)?

I had a call from him out of the blue as I was leaving Court this morning, so someone must have passed him my number.... :?

I made a general inspection before my trip to Silverstone and I found that my drive shaft is going to fail, so I would try to repair it.

I?d repair it as quick, as it is possible because I?m looking forward to this meeting very much. ;-)

It started making small vibrations when accelerating with full throtle in 1st and 2nd gear and not after drifting but after some quick accelerations.

I?d put new parts there and I?d hope that nothing else gonna break down.

Just been out in the B9 tonight and still have a possible overheating issue. :?

Have replaced the waterpump which was shagged and also the fan clutch.

Hope it's nothing too serious.

Might also want to drain the coolant and replace with all new coolant whilst you're at it...just in case

Think it maybe just trapped air.
I took her to work today and left her running for 50 minutes with the blowers on full and the cap off the header tank.
She was bled after we put the water pump on.
Hoping it's nothing more than an air lock and me flooring the cr4p out of it last night!!

Has anyone got an unused sunroof seal? I think we might have a leak....

I might be a casualty for next weekend.
Still using up water and overheating. Took it to work today and left it running for abour 45 minutes and it overheated again with the cover off the header tank.
Now I've got a steady trickle of water coming from one end of the block. Looks like it's the head gasket, hoping it's nothing more serious than that (cracked head??). Think the new water pump and fan clutch has found any weaknesses the head gasket had.
Gutted as I've spent hours getting this ready for next weekend. :(
Gonna see if we can attack it Tuesday or Wednesday and see if I can get it sorted by the weekend.
Fingers crossed. If it does get done, the maiden voyage will be to Silverstone from mine so it's AA card at the ready!!
