I went along with the war department.
We spotted a lovely highline M635csi in dark blue. No idea who's it was, but it was STUNNING!
I was surprised that most of the 6er's there were running on TRX. I thought all you boys swapped them out as soon as you got your cars? And to think my little on-line poll was screaming CHANGE THE WHEELS.
Practise what you preach boys..... practice what you preach.....

I suspect it may have been a case of "Sunday Best" as far as the TRX's were concerned. Mine are in the loft in case I ever need 100% originality.89speedster wrote:I was surprised that most of the 6er's there were running on TRX. The latest TRX's are supposed to be an improvement on the originals but still, the price is ridiculous.
Add in the problem that should you suffer terminal damage to one you are screwed unless you're lucky & Longstone have some in stock. Since they are only made in small batches the chances are you could be waiting for some time.
So, my Six rolls on conventional rubber which is more affordable, more available & has superior performance. My particular wheels are easier to clean too
