Does anyone know where to get e12 based e24 springs?
As the title states,
I’ve been on the hunt for lowering springs for my pre ‘82 e24.
It seems as if no one sells them, and its very hard to find them. Looking for front and rears springs with something more than a 1inch drop.
Thanks pals!

I own an E12 based 6er and everytime when I need a part I go to: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/partgrp ... BMW-633CSi which also tells you what other vehicles have the part I am looking for.
Hope that helps.

I should be more clear, I'm just looking for someone or a company who sells early model springs.

Creame24, try the following sources for E12 lowering springs:
Korman Autoworks
Suspension Techniques
B&G Springs
I have a set of B&G waiting to get installed, all part of a much larger project, that is waiting while I sort out my smog testing issues with our lovely state of CA

I see they only have e24 springs for post-facelift on the B&G website. BUT they have them for e12’s! I don’t know why they didn’t add that in there for e24 section. Shouldn’t the e12 springs bolt straight up to the pre-82 e24’s to my knowledge. I found some from their ebay store.GRNSHRK wrote: ↑Thu Apr 26, 2018 5:38 pm Creame24, try the following sources for E12 lowering springs:

Re: Does anyone know where to get e12 based e24 springs?
Yes, while there is some debate (mainly from Brucey ) about using E12 springs in an E24 due to the weight difference, they will indeed bolt right in
FWIW, the weight difference is very minor, IMHO, perhaps 100 pounds or so over the front axle
Again, if I ever get to my next big project, these are going into my 6er

Say no more...
I’m going to buy some because my e24 is a 4x4 right now. Thanks!

E12 springs work fine. A fellow named Dale McKim has a box new set he bought from me a few years ago. He has decided not to use them and has put them up for sale on First5s. Here is a copy of his offering. He is a CPA and you may be able to google him if interested. I could pass your email on to him and have him contact you as I don't want to be in the middle of someone else's deal. The spring manufacturer shows these as E12 and pre 82 E24 fitment which I also verified by a phone conversation with the manufacturer. I don't know if he still has them, but worth a shot.
Recently purchased these from another member, but other priorities will keep me from putting in the car anytime soon. Brand new in box.$350 + shipping (cost me about $50 in shipping when I got them.
